I'm very excited to see my latest assignment from National Geographic Magazine: The Real Life of Jesus...

I've been exploring the archaeological proofs for the existence of Jesus Christ. It is 24 pages of the December 2017 edition. I had the privilege to be in the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem last Christmas Eve and I had a vantage point from high in the roof of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem to witness the Miracle of the Holy Fire at Easter. I also got to handle the only physical evidence in existence for crucifixion: a human heel-bone with a 12cm nail smashed right through it. It lives in a safe in the Department of the Anatomy at the University of Tel Aviv.
