Path leading up to the mass grave site at Crni Vrh, eastern Bosnia.

To deter anyone from examining the site, the Bosnian Serbs seeded the area with landmines. In recent times,
war-crimes
investigators have cleared the path and grave site so that they can recover the bodies, but the paint-marked trees delineate a still active minefield.

This project, made to mark the tenth anniversary of the fall of Srebrenica, was made into the monograph 'Bleed' which came out in 2005.
